Refund Policy

This policy explains how Megan AI reviews refunds, credit restoration, duplicate payments, failed payments, and billing disputes.Last updated: May 10, 2026

1. Digital credit purchases

Megan AI sells digital credits that are delivered to your account and used to run AI generation tasks. Because credits are digital units, purchases are generally final once credits are delivered and used.

Unused purchased credits may be reviewed for refund eligibility if you contact us promptly after purchase and there is no evidence of abuse, chargeback activity, suspicious account behavior, or violation of our Terms.

2. Duplicate, failed, or incorrect payments

If you were charged twice, paid for the wrong account, paid but did not receive credits, or believe checkout failed incorrectly, contact hello@meiganai.app with your account email, Stripe receipt, checkout ID, and a short description of the issue.

After verification, we may deliver missing credits, correct the account balance, provide replacement credits, or issue a refund through Stripe.

3. Generation failures and credit restoration

If a generation provider fails, the task is blocked by a technical error, or no usable image is delivered, Megan AI may automatically restore the credits for that task. We may also manually adjust credits after review.

Subjective output quality, prompt interpretation, style mismatch, composition preference, or results that are technically delivered but not exactly as expected are not guaranteed refund reasons.

4. Abuse, restricted content, and safety blocks

We may decline refunds or credit restoration for requests involving policy violations, unsafe prompts, prohibited reference images, attempts to bypass moderation, automated abuse, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, or payment fraud.

If a request is blocked before generation due to safety or policy review, credits should not be consumed. If a technical billing error occurs, contact support for review.

5. Chargebacks and disputes

If you open a chargeback or payment dispute, we may pause the account, freeze credits, reverse promotional rewards, or suspend access until the dispute is resolved.

Please contact hello@meiganai.app before opening a dispute so we can review missing credits, duplicate payments, or failed delivery issues quickly.

6. How to request help

Send refund or billing requests to hello@meiganai.app. Include your account email, payment receipt, checkout session ID if available, task ID if related to generation, and screenshots only if necessary.

We aim to review billing requests in a reasonable timeframe. Refund timing after approval depends on Stripe, your card issuer, and your bank.
