Megan AI respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. Users are responsible for the prompts, uploaded images, reference images, and outputs they create, publish, or share.
If you believe content available through Megan AI infringes your copyright, you may send a takedown notice to hello@meiganai.app.
To help us review a copyright complaint, please include: your full legal name or authorized representative name; your email address; identification of the copyrighted work; the URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing content; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law; and a statement that the information in the notice is accurate.
Your notice should include a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner. Incomplete notices may delay review.
After receiving a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the identified content, restrict related accounts, notify the user who posted or generated the content, preserve relevant records, or request additional information.
Removal of content does not necessarily mean that infringement has occurred. We may decline requests that are incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, unrelated to copyright, or outside the scope of Megan AI.
If you believe content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to hello@meiganai.app. Include your name, contact email, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your physical or electronic signature.
Where applicable, we may forward your counter-notice to the original complainant and may restore content if the complainant does not notify us of legal action within the required timeframe.
We may terminate or restrict accounts that repeatedly infringe copyrights or repeatedly submit infringing prompts, uploads, reference images, or generated outputs.
We may also limit accounts that repeatedly submit false, abusive, or bad-faith takedown requests.
DMCA notices are for copyright claims. For trademark, privacy, publicity rights, impersonation, harassment, or safety concerns, contact hello@meiganai.app and clearly describe the issue.
Please include enough detail for us to locate the relevant content, such as the URL, task ID, account email, screenshot, or prompt title.
